Some of you may already have noticed that this website has recently been given a fairly radical facelift. Not before time, either, given that the old one had become really dusty and tired. I’m just glad I managed it in time to start the New Year with a fresh look. Now let’s highlight 10 reasons why the new blog design is better for you, the readers.
7. The website is now optimised for mobile as well, so if you enjoy reading while standing in a queue to get your passport renewed, you can do that too.
8. Both web and mobile viewing of this site are now, in the words of another beta user, ‘fast and fluid’, which makes things easier for you as a reader. I’ve noticed, though, that Internet Explorer does tend to be a bit slower than Chrome or Firefox (but I think that’s probably true for other websites too, not just mine!).
10. Navigation is now easier, with fewer main tabs which open out into drop-down menus. This means it should be easier to find the blog tab and click through to all the excitement of African travel and wildlife stories.
Thanks to both Keith and Justin for their help; I couldn’t have done it without you!
