I’m a self-confessed Africa Addict. I love the wildlife, landscapes, food, people, culture and heritage of our continent. Anyone who knows Africa can’t help loving it. But have you ever wondered which country is your secret Africa crush? Which would make you happy and provide the best holiday experience?

For instance, do you love safari or are you more about beaches? Do you love the vibe of modern cities or is it the culture and heritage of a destination that speaks to your soul?

Leading online travel agency Travelstart has created a fun quiz to winkle out the country you secretly want to visit. I was sceptical, but did it for fun anyway.

For me, the answer was? Namibia!
Which country is your secret Africa crush? Namibia

Those of you who have been reading this blog for a while, or who follow me on social media, will know how spot on that result is. I love Namibia, can’t stop gabbling about it. I’ve visited more than 30 times and it’s still not enough; in fact, I’m planning another trip right now.
Mokoro safari, Okavango Delta, Botswana, Africa

I’ve also loved Zambia, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Kenya and Tanzania, as well as South Africa of course. But I still have other African destinations on my wish-list. Who wouldn’t want to experience the diversity that is Africa?

Morocco, Tunisia, Rwanda, Uganda, Ethiopia and more, I’m coming for you one day.

Take the Travelstart quiz now

Then let me know in the comments below what you think of your result.

This post is in collaboration with Travelstart; I'm always keen to tempt people to travel to Africa.

Nice, Lynne. Just been to Kenya for the first time and loved the country and the people.

I got Morocco. Even though I tried to avoid choosing photos that obviously suggested Morocco (hello mint tea) 😂. It makes sense, I've visited Morocco three times in the last year and a half.

I know what you mean, Eulanda. I got Namibia, which I love, even though I didn't pick the obvious desert dune photo. Morocco is still on my list of places to go, both for the heritage and food.

I got Morocco, interesting! It's on the bucket list already anyways, I might push it up a few ranks though :)

On my bucket list too, Toni. If I lived in Europe, closer to Morocco, I'd have been by now. All that colour and heritage and foooood.

Lucky you, Selam, Ethiopia is still on my list. So much culture and fascinating architecture to be explored. And of course great coffee doesn't hurt either.

I have only been to Morocco but I would love to go basically anywhere else in Africa though Ethiopia and Kenya are currently high on my list. Namibia has always sounded amazing to me too though!

Namibia is amazing, so diverse and beautiful, Candiss, and I'm sure you'd love it. Morocco and Ethiopia are still on my to-do list too.

Fellow Africa addict here! I got Botswana, which is spot on. I have had a not-so-secret crush on Botswana for years but haven't made it there yet. I'm dying to see the Okavango Delta!

If you think you have a crush on Botswana now, Emily, just wait until you actually get there. I love it too. Have a look at my Botswana category here http://www.roxannereid.co.za/blog/category/botswana and it will pop to the top of your must-do list!
