Are you following the world's first live-tweeting honey badger (ratel) on Twitter? Watch the video to find out about this clever project.
Specially designed sensors in BG's high-tech enclosure allow him to tweet his thoughts and actions by remote control.
I've been following him for a month now, and have discovered he's cheeky, very opinionated and funny. Quite well-informed too. Here are some of his tweets:
- 'My neighbour says I remind him of a skunk. He is lucky there’s a fence between us.'
- 'Did you know an adult flamingo's legs can be 30-50 inches long? I’ve got a serious case of leg envy.'
- 'Seven years bad luck when you kill a spider. Boy is this bad luck delicious.'
- 'The Honeybee kills more people worldwide than all the poisonous snakes combined. I can take them both! Yup. I put the bad in badger.'
