Forget lions snoozing in the shade of a tree; they may draw crowds of cars, but often the most action you get out of them is a twitching tail. Far more thrilling is watching a Bateleur soar effortlessly through the skies, a Martial Eagle swoop like a bullet onto its prey, or a goshawk gobble its way through a mouse at breakneck speed.
