I have more than 20 years of editing and proofreading experience, and have also worked for various publishers as a manuscript evaluator for both fiction and non-fiction. I turned freelance in 1999, establishing my own business called ReidWrite Editorial Services. I am a member of the Professional Editors’ Guild and the SA Freelancers' Association. 

My clients include magazines and mainstream book publishers such as New Holland, Random House Struik, Jonathan Ball, Penguin, Kwela, Maskew Miller Longman, Pearson Education, Tafelberg, Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Double Storey, as well as niche publishers.
